OPEN SCIENCE SERVICES BY RESEARCH LIBRARIES: ORGANISATIONAL PERSPECTIVES DEVELOPMENTAL STAGES AND COMPETENCES FOR OPEN ACCESS AND RESEARCH DATA MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES

Many research libraries in Europe deliver Open Science services in the field of FAIR Research Data Management (RDM) and Open Access (OA). However, it is estimated that up to half of the European
research libraries deliver only limited services in these domains. This LIBER/ADBU study focuses on
understanding the organisational structures and competences needed for these services. The aim is to support an acceleration of the adoption process of these two Open Science services by research libraries throughout Europe by a toolkit based on this study

Informationskompetencer på tværs af uddannelsestrin

En partnerkreds bestående af Tænketanken Fremtidens Biblioteker, Silkeborg
Bibliotekerne og Danmarks Fag-, Forsknings- og Uddannelsesbiblioteker har søsat modningsprojektet Unges informationskompetencer. Projektgruppen har som led heri udarbejdet foreliggende litteraturreview, der har
til sigte at afdække behov, potentialer og brobygnings- og samarbejdsmodeller
for at imødegå både eksisterende og kommende udfordringer med de unges
informationskompetencer på tværs af uddannelsesskel.

Projektet er støttet af Slots- og Kulturstyrelsens Udviklingspulje for folkebiblioteker og pædagogiske læringscentre.

Second European Report on Sustainable Development Goals and Libraries: 2023 Update

Report prepared by the EBLIDA Secretariat
in collaboration with the National Library of Latvia.

This report is opening new directions for future EBLIDA strategy in the SDG field. It fulfils
the library’s commitment towards the attainment of SDGs in society, reinforces SDG-oriented policies in libraries at European scale and boosts the preparation of projects at
national and international level. In this respect, it is a milestone for library work whose
impact will be measured hopefully in the very near future.
